Overview: Winter 2011

The season of disaster.

Toaru Majutsu no Index

Dragon Crisis

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica

Yumekui Merry

This season was split in half when it was watched. There was one half before the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami, and after. The anime was impressive at the beginning of the season (particularly Yumekui Merry and Dragon Crisis) but died after the postponement of anime during the quake. Gosick started off boring, but increasingly got more interesting, and same with Index II (however VERY end of Index II annoyed me), but they still weren’t as good as a whole.

However two anime didn’t cease to disappoint: Kore wa Zombie desu ka? and Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. The comedy brought by KoreZombie was amazing and I was always entertained by it. It filled me with laughs. Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica was the big one this season. The one with the immense story which kept getting better and better.

Those were the highlights of the season.

Madoka Kaname –

I like her better than the other girls in her anime. She has hope and charm. Two things I like.

Haruna –

Oh gosh, this girl is funny. She amazed me with her child-tsundere attitude.

Maelstrom –

I like this character, but she hardly got any screen time.

Victorique de Blois –

Ehh… I don’t like her as much as everyone else. To me she’s a whiny spoiled kid at a library.

Rose –

I didn’t really like her nor hate her at the beginning of the series, howefer I loved her after she hit “dragon-puberty” and became all shy. She was amazing since.

Merry Nightmare –

Dat navel. She’s cute, but her design’s to complex. It’s a little strange.

In order of appeal:

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?

Toaru Majutsu no Index II

Yumekui Merry
